Technical Diving International (TDI) was formed in 1994 by some of diving's most experienced instructors to bring technical applications of diving to a wider audience. TDI's training materials have become known as the industry's best and most professional resources.
Most importantly, TDI has the best safety record of all training agencies. TDI has become the largest international specialized dive agency.
Trawangan Dive offers a variety of TDI Nitrox, Trimix, Closed Circuit Rebreather (CCR) and Service courses.
The TDI Nitrox course is an entry-level course for divers wishing to utilize enriched air nitrox as a breathing gas. Little else has impacted recreational diving more than the introduction of Nitrox, allowing more time underwater.
The TDI Advanced Nitrox course qualifies divers to use enriched air nitrox from EAN 21 through EAN 100 within your current certification level to a maximum depth of 40 meters (130 feet) during dives that do not require staged decompression.
As sport divers planned decompression is not something that we do or have been taught. The TDI Decompression Procedures course prepares you for planned staged decompression diving.
The combined TDI Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures course forms the foundation for any of the higher technical diver levels. Incorporating the skills and theory of both, this is a great curriculum for divers ready to begin their tec diving career.
As your motivation to explore progresses you will find that you may want to go deeper to dive that wreck that is part of history or that cave system that you have read so much about.
The TDI Advanced Trimix Diver course is the top level of training for open circuit divers wishing to dive to depths as deep as 100 meters (330 feet) utilizing hypoxic levels of oxygen (17% or lower).
The TDI Air Diluent CCR Diver course (certification depends on unit/electronics used during training) is your first step into closed circuit rebreather diving (CCR Diving) and your first truly quiet diving experience.
The TDI Air Diluent CCR Decompression Procedures Diver course (certification depends on unit/electronics used during training) is the second level certification course for divers wishing to utilize a closed circuit rebreather (CCR) for air diving.
Unit specific for Inspiration, Evolution and JJ CCR’s. The TDI Mixed Gas course (certification depends on unit/electronics used during training) is your next step into closed circuit rebreather diving and with the addition of helium as a diluent gas, it is your opportunity to explore a little deeper.
Unit Specific for Inspiration, Evolution and JJ. The highest level of CCR training that TDI offers, the Advanced Mixed Gas course will teach you to use the full capabilities of a CCR.
In the TDI Gas Blender course, you will receive a foundation of skills and knowledge that is needed to blend enriched air nitrox for recreational divers.
Building upon the TDI Gas Blender Course, the next step is taken in the TDI Advanced Gas Blender Course where you will develop and master the skills and knowledge needed to produce custom mix gases for technical diving that include helium.
In the TDI O2 Equipment Service Technician Course, you will expand upon the repair skills you have received from equipment manufacturer’s programs and learn the proper techniques and protocols of preparing scuba equipment for use with breathing gases other than air.
