Gili Trawangan Dive Site Deep Halik Minimum diving certification needed for this dive: Open Water Course

Halik reef is a sloping reef available to all divers. Beautiful coral formations are found in the shallows, and along the reef, coral bommies and Gorgonian fans. A perfect drift dive, and commonly Lionfish, Moray Eels, Coral Grouper, and Bumphead Parrotfish (around the full moon) are to be found. Green and Hawksbill turtles inhabit the reef, and it has been described as Turtle Paradise by some divers. For the more experienced diver, there is Deep Halik, a series of coral canyons perfect for a multilevel dive. The coral is pristine, and Reef Sharks, Eagle Rays, and schooling Travelly can all be expected.
